  A mom has a question: "I have a 9 yr old son, diagnosed with ADHD. Took him off Focalin XR 10 mg because he was biting his nails so badly causing small sores and bleeding. Also the Focalin seemed to increase his anxiety and obsessive type behavior. Major loss in appetite too but that was expected. We have our first visit to a child psychiatrist tomorrow. Can anyone recommend other ADHD medications they have been happy with? I'm truly overwhelmed- in Baltimore, Md"
