I'd really like to accentuate the 'atomic ranch' elements of the home. There's a lot of material on the interior design, but can anyone point me to some sources of exterior ideas, or even tutorials. I live in Sarsota, so the Sarasota School of Architecture is a strong influence. Where can I find a lot of examples of "Atomic Ranches." Simple, middle class mid-century homes. A lot of searches for mid-century modern ranch just tend to bring up 60 year old houses, but few are iconic.

The only information I've found so far on architects is from milehimodern.com. They list two firms - I have yet to contact either, so no guarantees on whether they are what you're looking for. I'd also recommend, depending on how much work you're interested in doing yourself, checking out retrorenovation.com (if you haven't already). They have a ton of great resources on MCM renovations, culture, etc. Hope that helps!

One had off-white or "bone," the other had bright white. i went with turquoise paint in the white bathroom, and yellow-green in the "bone" bathroom. (Counters were w hite Formica; the walls and floors were tile.) Another reason I gave you the retro renovation website link is that Pam Kueber is mad for wallpaper; I think wallpaper would be a great way to add some more 50 s style to your bathroom!
