  Roger M. wrote: Sam Sumaida, using the name Sam & Crew, is nothing short of crooked. A bad contractor. He uses false business addresses (people at the address did not recognize Sam when visited). Not registered with the City of Hamilton. He improperly installed Firestone EPDM roofing. Major water pockets as roofing was not glued down. Firestone Roofing's own Canadian representatives, MJ Building Envelope Solutions Inc., stated: "Wow! This is definitely a bad installation to say the least" and "One thing in particular I should point out is the seam between the narrow section and the wider part of the roof there appears to be a seam that is connected with a bituminous (asphalt) membrane ( its is a beige colour with Blue print – SopraSeal AVB). This product is completely incompatible to the synthetic rubber membrane and regardless of the action you take, this has to be remedied.". When we reached out to Sam at first he was defensive, then "You like us to change our ways, we can do that but that requires new payments as it is not included in the original quote" even though it was included in the original proposal. Then he blocked my number. Not responding at all to our concerns. Don't use Sam. He's bad news.
