Hey photographers or anyone I'm looking for a Hot shoe Adapter for a Canon camera. Anyone have one I could rent out for a week or less? This is urgent. Thanks.
Looking to start up a studio. Any advice on how to go about it, what equipment to have/get, where to get equipment as well as tips and advice. Thanks!

SkillsmrZerothreeone Talent , this page was created by Camerastuff. I shop at both Camerastuff and Studio 22. But i really think it is totally uncool to actually direct people to the competitors page. REALLY not cool. Windowshopping can be done at www.camerastuff.co.za

At CameraStuff we have the lil' gizmos and things you may need. I'd recommened fan-cooled lights with a popular speedring mount. We also have the spare flash tubes and modelling lamps if need be.
Hannes E. replied:
And if you think you need a lot of space, you are wrong. I bought my 2.8 m wide vinyl from Camerastuff in Cape Town, with two stands, and I shoot in a 2.8 x3.3 meter space. I sometimes wish I went slightly wider for horizontal shots, but it works. Vinal is easy to clean, even heavy marks from high heels.
Can anyone recommend a walk in photographic shop in and around Johannesburg where one could get professional advice on buying camera's and accessories.
Brett L. replied:
MANY THANKS FOR ALL THE MENTIONS EVERYONE. We (Camerastuff) are at 373 Jan Smuts Ave, Craighall Park. Also in Cape Town and online at camerastuff.co.za. We're closed 'till Monday but would be very happy to chat about your accessory needs next week.

If you are interested in buying a camera, you can do a lot of research online and possibly go to a shop that sells Cameras like Kameraz / Outdoor Photo / Cameraland. Camerastuff deal mainly with any and all accessories you may need for your photograp hy so they're great to chat to as well. The best thing to do ? Write a list of what you want from a camera and then take that to the people. They will recommend a few cameras, so take those names down and just read up about them. Then make your well-considered choice. :)

I own Camerastuff and if that happened in one of my stores I'd be very unhappy, Mike Stone .

Brett Wayne Lewis if only it was that simple. I asked for some advice from Camerastuff in Cape Town regarding a macro setup, Kooka extension rings and a Kooka lens inverter system as seen on your website. I received nothing....nada, not even an apology and that my question is receiving attention. I did receive a quote, but when i asked questions...the lines went dead. I will probably have to endure all sorts of vitriolic comments from users on this fb page, or may even be banned for the "happy users" out there, but.....such is life.
Probably www.grphotographic.co.za or www.camerastuff.co.za for that gear. What drones are you looking for? Might be able to help you personally (I have 2 I don't use).

Tip : Know which tripod head make and model you have - they are all different and you need to get the specific one. If you don't come right now, give us (CameraStuff - 011 880 4155 - info@camerastuff.co.za) a shout after 5 Jan, when we re-open. smile emoticon
