  Does anyone know of a local jeweler that will sell wedding band mountings? We have our own diamonds but just need a place that will work with us on just the mountings. Ft Thomas jewelers quoted a men's ring at $1300 just bc they wouldn't just sell the mounting, they had to start from scratch and make his ring. The diamonds are sentimental and we'd like to use them instead of buying something from a case. Thanks!!!

  I would try Boyle jewelers. I haven't personally taken anything there but met the owner and jeweler and they said they do that kind of stuff. My husband bought just a mounting at Jared before we found a proper jeweler and they did a terrible job.
