  There's a new service called Helpling (www.helpling.com) that charges $20 an hour, with a minimum booking of two hours (ie. $40 for a session). I tried it out last week, and my helper was a really nice lady who was very detailed with the cleaning, but $40 is a bit much. Editing to add: OP, maybe you should also try looking at the bulletin boards at the Cold Storages in neighborhoods like River Valley, Jelita or Holland Village. Sometimes domestic helpers advertise their services there and they can pop by on their off-days on Sundays for a bit of extra coin. Try the expat forums too.
