  Lorna forgot to mention that my advice will be free and you are not required to use anything that I recommend or offer! I usually use open source systems so there is zero cost for software - Drupal is open source and runs best on Apache and MySQL whic h are also free open source. You can run Drupal under Microsoft web sever and Microsoft SQL but it is not recommended or cheap. The White House, the Economist and Royal Mail use Drupal ... It is commercial grade and highly configurable suitable for simple sites ( like www.joegeorgemusic.co.uk ) as well as e commerce ... Have a happy new year
