Mover recommendations I’m moving from DC to Chicago and am looking to use movers for the first time. Does anyone have any recommendations for good/affordable long-distance moving companies?
Thank you!

I used http://www.anytimemovers.com/ for a local move this weekend. I can't speak to long distance moves,, but they have great reviews on Google and yelp (which include long distance testimonials) as do other companies. However, i picked them because they had much better prices than competitors. The move went well, no hidden fees or bs time wasting that raised costs.
Hey friends! Moving in tomorrow. We were going to unpack ourselves but would like to hire someone after we packed it all today...Any recommendations for movers in the area? Even if it’s on the side!!

I've used Anytime Movers a bunch of times and they are awesome, and usually one of the cheaper options. They do tend to book up though, so might not be available on short notice. http://www.anytimemovers.com/
Does anyone have a reasonably rated moving company they recommend? I haven't moved in 6 years and live in a Clarendon 2 unit. My husband is recently graduated from the Virginia Theological Seminary so we are tight on budget and moving to Herndon to be closer to his first parish. The quotes I am getting are in the upper 1800-2100 range. Is this the going rate these days? Thanks!

http://www.anytimemovers.com/ i've used them for two moves and am very happy! would definitely recommend and they have VERY good rates! :)
Ok DC hive mind: suggestions on home movers in the DC areas, preferably those that pack and move, preferably those that pack, move, store, move, and unpack. (no, we are not moving, we are getting extensive renovations on the house).

hey. . my daughter and roommate moved recently and despite a little bit of tardiness, it all went well. . . They did quite a bit of research first. I don't know if they store, but here is the web address www.anytimemovers.com
