I'm a bit embarrassed to post this, but does anyone know if there is any way for singles to be able to get some sort of help from an organization when they can't afford to buy food? I feel stupid to ask this because I know there are so many needy families. However, I am out of work now for half a year and drowning in bills. I just can't afford to budget in food anymore.

Perhaps you could try here. Their thrift store is located in the Hadar if you want to speak to someone in person. http://www.levchash.co.il/
Hi all just made aliyah on Wednesday (!) Is anyone in Ahuza able to lend us a couple of blow-up/air mattresses and folding chairs until our shipment arrives in a few weeks? Or if anyone knows where is cheap to buy? Many thanks!

if you want some second hand funiture for your home, try this place. they can also arrange for a delivery for a small fee. the prices are super cheap, and bonus is, you can always donate the stuff back to them when youre done.. just mind the strict opening hours, and bring some cash. http://www.levchash.co.il/
I know this has been asked before but I can't find the info! Is there a second hand clothing store I can donate clothes to in Haifa? Is it Wizo? Thanks!

Is anyone aware of a furniture rental service? Renting totally empty appaertments, specifically in Hadar where I'm looking, seems to be really economic; but then again - they're completely empty and I'm moving out of Ulpan dorms, with no furniture!

or if you wanted used furniture check out www.levchash.co.il
A bit of a strange question, maybe: anyone know a place that accepts donations of kitchen utensils? Namely, a mug. If they'll also take clothes I have to donate even better.
