  Good morning everyone. I need recommendations on an excellent pediatric neurologist. My almost 4 year old daughter started having silent seizures last december. And since then shes had 9 more silent seizures. We ran eed tests but unfortunatley they cant find it on her brain the cause of the seizures. And dont want to label it seizures or her having epilepsy even though they said it is silent seizures and seizure like activity. Well in October this year she had a seizure and started convulsing. It lasted 20/30 secs and she was just dazed. Went to the e.r. and they couldnt do anything for her. Well yesturday she had another and stopped breathing for 10-15 seconds. She was also convulsing for about 20 seconds prior to the breathing issue. She is scheduled for a 2 hr eeg test on tuesday but unfortunately she doesnt have a seizure during the testing they cant do much for her.....im sure there is more they can do. The only thing they suggest is to medicate her but the side effects will make her aggressive and dependable for the rest of her life. I feel they are skipping other steps that can be done to help her. Does anyone know a great neurologist that can help and wont give up and go on vacations out the country each month. Does anyone else have this issue with a younger child? I Just want answers! Its so scary to go through this. Thank you in advance. Delete if not allowed.

  Loma linda children is the hospital but they also made a loma linda sac dr office@250 s G st in san Bernardino #(909)3827100 but u know u gotta c a pediatrician first then they refer u out. Hope they figure this out for ur Bby.

He has been going to Redlands family clinic for quite some time, and I have highly recommended them over the years. But they recently changed doctors, and the current one he has seen twice. First time I thought might have been a fluke (doc having a bad day..etc) Went back today and nope. He spoke over us, would not listen, kept his back to my son when my son was asking questions. He will not be going back there. Seeing if anyone can recommend a good doc who has compassion for the patients.

  SACHS Health Care Systems... they work with doctors at St. Bernadines & Loma Linda so which ever hospital you decide to go to is fine! They except your insurance! They were helping me with weight loss and IEHP works with them also inplacing you in the weight watchers program and it ONLY cost you $20 monthly they fund the rest! Dr. Miller is a great doctor that's there (909) 382-7100
