  Tooth didn't get fixed today, must see my oral surgeon. Wisdom tooth needs to come out. Problem is, when I called our surgeon, the receptionist informed me that the earliest appointment isn't until late January. I informed her that I was in intense pain and couldn't wait another 4 + weeks to get this fixed that I was in too much pain. She told me that I should find another surgeon on my insurance's provider list to go to if the end of January wasn't going to work for me. I was speechless. I wasn't expecting that response from her - our family has been going to this practice for years and they've seen all of us but Matt. I cannot except that they can't get a patient in within a few days that is experiencing severe pain and have been instructed by another doctor that it needs to be removed. Should I try again or find another surgeon? Thoughts?
