I am a "fat chick", if you will...anyone know of any good yoga studios where a full figured woman could practice, feel welcome, not be intimidated/overwhelmed? Suggestions for neighborhood locations or surrounding areas are welcome.

Jaime Fay - we go to Santosha Yoga on 38 th! They are so patient & kind and the classes are full of young, old and all different fitness levels. I have always felt comfortable and welcomed. http://www.santoshayogastudio.com
I know this topic has been visited before, but I thought with the new year coming up it might be helpful again. What are your favorite Yoga studios/instructors/styles? Any advice for a newbie taking their first class? Thanks!

Santosha Yoga on 38 th and Fenton is wonderful yoga studio in Wheat Ridge. I have been going regularly for about 3 years. All of the instructors are amazing and most of them are Iyengar certified and actively pursuing higher certification levels. The y are so kind, encouraging and knowledgeable. They welcome new students and make individual modifications for all levels of students. I love this studio because the classes are a nice balance of men and women of all ages. They provide all the mats and props you need. I am very picky and have never attended a studio regularly until I found this place. I just can't say enough great things! http://www.santoshayogastudio.com/
