At that time, I paid the required $500 deposit via credit card. In the fall of 2022, I was sent a picture via email of a brown female lagotto romagnolo that was going to be mine. A few weeks later I was told by Sonia Lopez that she didn’t think that dog was a good companion match for me. I agreed to wait until the spring of 2023 to get a puppy. In March 2023, I was sent a second picture via email of a white and brown lagotto puppy that was supposed to be mine. I paid the remaining $4000 for the dog via credit card on March 5, 2023. The dog was supposed to come home on April 21 or 22, 2023. AKC Litter Registration #SS396827 Microchip # 956000015510307 Sire: : AKC CH Bomber di Casa Ghini Reg # SS03728801 However, a few weeks later I was told that the puppy didn’t pass the health test and couldn’t be adopted by me. I was told by Sonia Lopez that this was only the third time she had a dog who tested this aggressive and that the dog had potential health and neurological issues. I was extremely upset and told both my sister and my best friend that, of course, a special educator like me would purchase a dog with special needs. Sonia Lopez offered me a refund or a puppy from a future litter. Initially, I agree to wait until the end of the summer for a third possible dog as I felt sorry for her. She shared with me that she was going through financial issues. Looking back, I believe she was manipulating me so she wouldn’t have to return my money for the AKC registered dog litter, noted above. Sonia Lopez told me on multiple occasions that she would call me to discuss the matter, but she never did. I have not heard from her via phone in 2023 at all. Unfortunately, upon further research, I found another customer who experienced a similar situation as me and never received a puppy from Two-by-Two Lagotto either. At that time, I asked for a full refund ASAP. Sonia Lopez agreed to the $4500 refund in writing. In fact, she informed me that the refund was being processed and would take 7-10 days. That was three+ weeks ago. It has now been 23 days since I requested the refund to which Sonia Lopez agreed in writing. She has since sent me text messages and emails with incorrect information and conflicting statements. I left three voice messages for her representative at Merchant Services as that is the company that Sonia Lopez told me was processing my refund. I have not heard back from her Merchant Services representative either. This week, I filed complaints with the Better Business Bureau and the American Kennel Club. I see Sonia Lopez of Two by Two Lagotto still has “available puppies” listed on the AKC Marketplace website. Finally, Sonia Lopez told me she doesn’t have the money to give me. I offered a payment plan that she didn’t agree to either. It has been over four months since I purchsed a puppy from Two by Two Lagotto. I didn’t receive a dog, and I haven’t been given my refund. At this point, I just want my $4500 back. Personally, I would NEVER purchase any product or service from Sonia Lopez and Two by Two Lagotto again!!!
