Mehrdad : I agree modern game engines are similar nowadays, but he's working on Unity, not UDK ! Btw, I discovered http://www.thenewboston.com 2 years ago and it's simply one of the best website I've ever found. Bucky is such an awesome guy !
I know people recommend sites like w3 schools, but is there a good video tutorial series for learning web development that you all might recommend? Is the w3 route the better way to do it? I really want to learn web development, but I am much more of a visual learner. I tend to prefer video tutorials that I can sit down, watch and follow along with. I've done a bit on w3 schools but they're mostly just text lessons so I was wondering if there are any good video series out there or if doing the text lessons are the best approach.

Just as a general point try to stay away from W3Schools, they're not teaching the best practices over there. [HTMLDog](http://www.htmldog.com) is good for HTML/CSS. I don't know exactly what you mean by web development, but assuming you want to get into a server side language too. I would check out [TheNewBoston](http://www.thenewboston.com/), it's got free video tutorials in PHP, which I would suggest as good starting language.
