  What ho, chaps and chapesses I should like to crave a favour. Some months ago, I suffered a rather nasty stroke, and a dashed embuggerment it has proved; however, thanks to the rather excellent physiotherapy team at the Royal Derby, I am gradually getting back on the old pins. However, the walking stick I have to use is standard NHS issue, and whilst sturdy and functional, does tend to spoil the look of the Steampunk outfits I have put together. Can any of you wonderful people suggest where I can obtain a functional stick that has a slightly less NHS-y look? I do have a Victorian cane but it is not strong enough for the demands of my still-in-recovery gait!
