  HELP!!: In search of a place to camp and trail ride in either Minnesota, Wisconsin, or Iowa. We have a group of about 15 people that get together every year to camp and trail ride together. We like to go for a week in the summer and would prefer the campground to have cabins. Thank you in advance!

  What kind of Riding are you looking for this will make a difference as well. We have heard that Spur of the Moment in Wisconsin.Is just Flat land. Nothing exciting... We camp a few places but nothing with a cabin. Ukarydee ( http://horsecampukarydee.com/ ) Easier Trails with some hills and water to play in they have nice pens for the horses and you can also bring your own if you need more or rent an extra site. They have water and electric with porta potties. They also have a shower in the main office area where you can shower as needed. Wild Cat ( http://dnr.wi.gov/topic/parks/name/wildcat/ ) is beautiful with a little more challenging trails. Again no Cabins that I am aware of but you could check to see what is available in the area and Ride or Drive in for the day. Spectacular Colors for fall riding. Wild Rock ( http://www.co.clark.wi.us/index.aspx?NID=236 ) Has a Variety of levels in the trail system (water, bridges, rocky hills. Shoes are advised as there is some gravel road riding as well as rocky trails when on the Seven Sisters Trails up the hills and has other parts of the trail shared with SUV and 4 wheelers. We have spent many weekends out there and have never had an issue with the other riders they have been very respectful to us and our horses. Again no cabins on site but there is a pavilion for group cooking with electric there and water near by. Sites are smaller and only so many have electric, there are outhouses and no showers. There are many more but these are the ones that I know of well in Wisconsin.

Would appreciate recommendations on places to stop-over, camp (prefer water/electric) and ride and I am looking for riding buddies.
