  Can anyone recommend a GP in Pietermaritzburg that has in-depth knowledge of Hypothryoidism. I have been battling for years now to find one that knows his/her stuff in this town. All the doctors that I have been to only know the absolute basics. They don't even know what t3 medication is or what standard blood tests to do. I am at the end of my tether.

  Its starting to sound like sufferers must start taking on their own illness issues. There are ways and likestyles changes that can change your life but one has to be prepaired for huge change. Nothing will happen untill we take full responsibility and tell our Drs what to do.
