  Any recommendations for dog trainers, preferably in the Etobicoke area? I’m trying to help look for a dog trainer for my friend that has an aggressive border collie. His dog is a little more than a year old and is very aggressive. My friend is worried for the trainer’s sake because the dog has and will bite at strangers that try to to pet him. Is there any good trainers that you guys can recommend in this case? Preferably in the Etobicoke area, but if its worth it then anywhere in Toronto should be okay.

  I've mentioned community a couple times today on this page and it got me thinking that I would put my pride aside and reach out to you guys, my dog park community, for advice on an ongoing issue with my own dog, Cash. Carole Larson brought up our legal responsibilities as dog owners, despite being a designated off leash area (on a separate post) and with snow and screaming kids on sleds quickly approaching, so is my seasonal anxiety....Cash is very fearful of children and rather than being on edge/leaving the park early all winter, I'd like to know whether anyone has had this experience and overcome it, or can recommend a trainer with this specific experience? Keeping in mind, my reaching out is less about the legal repercussions and more about my not knowing where else to get a good recommendation to deal with this.   Hello ... I haven't used him for my frenchie, but my ex partner and I would take his Australian cattle dog to Boisey. He's a dog trainer and also does boarding. Here is their FB page http://www.mellowvibesiriedogtraining.ca/ He's a great guy and amazing dog trainer! I would highly recommend him and if I ever need to leave my little guy behind, I would only trust Boisey, outside of my own family.
