  Coming down to The Villagex next week and need to find a good RELIABLE company that will trim up our palms and bushes. Was supposed to be on M & M (Megan's) rotation list, but that never went anywhere. Can someone recommend a reliable honest company for trimming only? Since we aren't down but 4-5 times a year, they need to do it on an as needed basis and bill us. It's not like we didn't pay Megan, she just didn't come thru like we thought she would. Don't understand how you can stay in business when you operate this way. Thanks in advance for your help. Fingers crossed husband retires Dec 31 and we start living our dream.

  Let's talk trees ;-) We have a large Oak that needs some major trimming. I have gotten several mixed reviews of what needs to be done. Does the tree removal company get a permit OR do we have to do that??? ALSO, the most important question......who would you recommend to cut down a tree???? anyone know of a good company?   The Villages doesn't want the Live Oaks cut down, but the tree can be trimmed so that there is minimal mess to worry with. Douglas Landscape & Lawn service trims up and around the tree so that the wind can blow thru the branches. We also take all the l ittle branches and moss in and on the major branches.
