  I see Karen Wendowski, who is up by St. Vincent - no idea if she is in your network but she's really wonderful. She takes her time with you, puts you at ease, is thorough, etc. I would also second Meridian Pediatrics for great pediatricians. We go to Jill Mazurek (LOVE HER); I don't think she is taking new patients but we have also seen several other MDs in that practice and have been very happy with all of them!

Who do you all take your kids to? We do have one interview with a pediatrician that is close to our house but I would like to look into a couple others before deciding.   For local peeps -- I am looking to recommend a pediatrician for a new-in-town person. She wants a female doc who is "warm and thorough". Obviously Jason could recommend one, but he picks docs that are not very warm and prefers an under-prescriber/under reactor. Thus, I don't think his recommendations would be useful for this woman. Do any of you have a pediatrician that would fit this bill that you like? If so, who? Thanks in advance!
