So I just renewed my license and I feel a tad bit deflated because I haven't sold anything since I have been licensed!! I work full-time with the government. I need a mentor and a broker. Please in-box me with recommendations. :-)
Okay first time home buyer , I'm only 21 and have about 600 credit , any suggestion on where to get a loan from ? Anyone that has been in my situation comment or message me !

My husband and I worked with https://www.facebook.com/304204896369536 Jose Mejia, Realtor - Tampa Bay, Florida Newhomeprograms.com and he helped us increase our scores before we bought our home. It's part of the services they provide.
What's a good bank I could go too that gives decent loans to a first time home buyer with not that great of credit (if any) ? Roughly how much would I need to put down? Any tips are appreciated. TIA

When we bought we did the FHA loan which only requires 3.5% down. There is also the USDA loan for rural areas which gives you 100% financing (no money down needed) plus sometimes an additional 2%. I believe USDA is also the one that may include repa ir costs into the loan if the home needs a lot of repairs. We didn't have great credit at all when we were ready to buy (stupid mistakes we made years ago when we were young and first established our credit). We worked with Jose Mejia, Realtor - Tampa Bay, Florida Newhomeprograms.com and he helped us get our credit up and set goals for us and within 6 months we were ready to buy. The mortgage broker he works with did all the work finding the lender for us and handling the paperwork. All we had to do was choose the home we wanted, send them what they needed, sign the paperwork and in a 6 weeks we moved in. I thought it was going to be such a hard process since our credit was low and we both are self-employed, but it was surprising easy (as easy as home buying goes lol). Best of luck to you guys! :)
