I started caking when I made my son's 1st birthday cake in 2010. His theme was "dog" and what started out as a small cake grew to the 3D carved, fondant covered dog cake you will see in my album. I quickly learned that I love to decorate cakes and have since made cakes for family and friends. I love the challenge of perfecting recipes, making a cake all edible, finding the right medium to use, the right technique, etc. for each cake I do.
I now have three beautiful kids, my oldest is 4, and they take priority in my life. I am also blessed with a supportive husband and that is how I am able to do what I do. Each cake takes hours and hours (and sometimes days) from my family time and therefore, I only take a limited number of cakes per month. If you have a need, I suggest booking your date early!
Here's some info on our items:
Cakes:
Smallest cake offered alone is an 8in cake (feeds up to 20). 6in or 4in cakes are available with the order of another cake (commonly used as smash cakes). Cakes are priced per serving based on the complexity of the cake. Base price for an 8in cake is $50. Several cake flavors, icing options and fillings are available. Some fillings carry an additional cost.
Cupcakes:
Cupcakes are offered by the 1/2 dozen with a minimum order of 1 dozen. Several cake flavors and icing options are available. Prices range based on the complexity of the cupcake. Base price on cupcakes is $2/cupcake.
Cookies:
Cookies are offered by the 1/2 dozen with a minimum order of 1 dozen. Currently, cookies are offered in butter, vanilla or almond flavor. Cookies are priced based on the size of the cutter with a base price of $1.00. Most cookies are $2-$2.50/cookie. Cookies are served on a disposable platter or wrapped in bags and tied with coordinating ribbon.
Balloons:
Latex balloon bouquets available in groups of 5, 7, or 9 for $0.50/balloon. Weights are available at $2/each. Mylar balloons are... show more ordered specifically per event and require a 2 week advance order and are priced individually.
Policies:
Items are all made per order in a kitchen that is not free from nut, soy or any other known allergen. Please refrain from ordering if there is a known allergy.
Orders must be placed no earlier than 1 week before due date but because we fill up quickly, we recommend booking 4-6 weeks before your event. Dates are first come, first serve.
25% or $25 deposit required on orders of $50 or more. Deposits are refundable if orders are canceled 1 week or greater from the due date. Orders canceled less than 1 week before due date forfeit deposit. Deposits are 100% refundable in the event that an order is canceled by the Cakery.
Delivery is $15 and offered on the Peninsula. Delivery must be confirmed when order is placed. Delivery is included on all wedding cake orders.
Tastings are included in all orders of 100+ servings. Tastings include 3 cake flavor choices and 3 icing/filling choices. Additional cake or icing/fillings tastings are at additional cost.
Latex balloons last 4-10 hours. We suggest you pick-up your order as close to your event as possible. Mylar balloons last longer - several days to weeks depending on the balloon. show more
