Emotional Support Animals? Hello!
I hope I don't get torn to shreds here, but my girlfriend is hoping to get emotional support animal. She did therapy for years (high levels of anxiety) when she was in high school but unfortunately hasn't gone in maybe 5-6 years and doesn't have insurance anymore. She isn't trying to bend any rules by having one, just simply wants to get an emotional support animal so she has medical protection in general as she cannot afford medication anymore.
On to my question, does anyone know of any doctors that may be willing to help her if she could get her therapy records transferred over to them? Or maybe someone you or a friend went through that was a fairly simple process? Unfortunately her old clinic is fairly expensive and she is worried about paying all that money to go only to have them not be willing to help, as we know some people feel strongly against the idea of emotional support animals.
Thank you in advance!

She should contact the Family Health Center (I go to the Paterson location for medical care) to find a therapist and get medication. They work on a sliding scale so she’ll be able to afford both. I use them for medical and dental care and am very satisfied with both. They randomly assign PCPs so she should know she can switch if she doesn’t click with whoever they give her. I am with Dr. Busk-Sutton (sp?) and she’s been great and easy to work with. I have no idea if they’ll work with her to get an ESA but it’s worth a try. Dentist Recommendation? hello, friends & neighbors!
I’m looking for a recommendation on a new dentist. I’m currently a patient of Dr. Spurr’s and I couldn’t be more dissatisfied with their office. I even referred a coworker there who has horrible experiences with the filling work they have done. the filling has had to be redone (twice!) and still causes discomfort. (not to mention the staff is insanely rude!) just looking for a dentist with a good friendly staff to do some regular cleanings and a filling or two when needed. thanks!

If you are low income Family Health Center on allcot (269) 349-2641. They got me in next day for cleaning and next week for what ended up being a pull. (pull was free, recap that couldn't be done but was what ever insurance covers) Due to covid I don't know about appt.
Need a Dentist... NO INSURANCE!!! Life can really suck a fat one some times. Need to find Job w/ Insurance or make more money to get my own Insurance or learn about Obama Care or Hold a Dentist hostage? IDK?

269-349-2641 is their number. They moved their dentist office to Portage road by Cork.

Try the Family Health Center. They have payment plans you can apply for. Sometimes they have grants.
