  Okay Facebook friends and hive minds, I'm looking to get a physical and I'm asking for recommendations on a doctor to have as a general practitioner. I don't like the doctor I've been going to (it's one I've been going to since my mom took me since I was in high school) and I'm looking to switch because I'm unhappy with them. If possible I'd like them to be close to where I live (Royal Oak) but am willing to travel for great care. If possible have them be a holistic doc because I've heard good things about them. Besides that I'm just looking for a recommendation of a doc that is a person and not a semi-robot. Any ideas?

  I LOVE my doc. She's not near you, but totally worth the trip. She's a DO, but sort of the earth mother type so includes holistic stuff, too. She's exceptionally bright. Her name is Debra VanOrt and she's at 522 Commerce Road in Commerce Twp. Her number is 248-363-7123.
