  Does anyone know of a good dentist that gives self-pay discount? I need some major work done and my dentist gave me a quote of almost $8000. Who has that kind of money? I have no insurance right now so this is coming out of my pocket. Unfortunately it's gotten to the point where it's almost an emergency situation needs to be done fairly soon. It's crazy how expensive this kind of stuff is. I need to get a second opinion before I make a decision. Any suggestions ladies?
