  Got a lovely letter from the county health dept. yesterday- in regards a septic fail from 1978. The lady who bought this place from us had septic work done.... as evidenced by the green round thing in my yard that's adjacent to the septic tank. Now, WHAT she had done exactly, I do not know. But we've not had any evidence of a failed system in the 3 yrs. since we've been back on the property. Anyhoo, does anyone out there know of someone local who can evaluate the system. MUST be licensed according the the health dept. letter.
