  I remember reading recently about someone uninsured needing medical attention, and I think the main place suggested was Meharry Hospital. So, does anyone know of any doctor there they would recommend? If so, what is the ph# of their office and the address please? If anyone can think of a place closer to Antioch that would be great too. I took someone to Southern Hills today and the nurse said Meharry was the only place she knew of if you have no medical insurance.

  If you live in Nashville and it is an emergency they will take you at Vanderbilt. They don't have any choice. They won't take your home. Sises friend's husband went to Summit and ended up with an appendectomy and complications. They waived all of the costs because didn't have insurance. I found this but they don't say where they are. I guess you have to call. Maybe a network of doctors at different hospitals and offices in Nashville but not sure. http://www.faithmedical.org/Home You need to look at the website because there are eligibility requirements.
