  We need some help. Last weekend, our dog killed a skunk while protecting his home. The skunk was too decomposed to test for rabies. Even though he is current on vaccinations we are required to quarantine him in a facility that has a Vet for 90 days. So far, only one can do it, FOR $35 PER DAY! Can anyone recommend a low/no cost alternative? We live in Weatherford

The two puppies that showed up on our door step back on Dec. 3 are both needing the surgery, but money is so tight for us right now and we need all the help we can get on cutting back on the cost.   The one we're scheduling already has a long waiting list. TCAP (texasforthem.org) offers low cost surgeries, but in Tarrant County. You might check with the Millsap Vet Clinic, they are usually the least expensive: 940-682-4970.

  next spay and neuter day is May 23, by appointment only. Call 940-682-4970 and ask for the Parker Paws special. Low cost vaccinations will also be available that day from 10 am-2 pm, no appt. needed. $30 for microchip.
