Does anyone know of a vet that is open now that will let us make payments for service?
Vicki A. replied:
I only know of one vet that is open today and that's MedVet 24 hour emergency vet (https://www.medvetforpets.com/). If you can quality there is financing through CareCredit. https://www.carecredit.com/vetmed/
Vet recommendations Anyone recommend a good vet? My dog has been throwing up the last two days after eating a couple treats from the neighbor. I want to take her to the vet to get checked but we just moved to Indy a month ago. We live on the near east side but I don't mind driving for a good vet. **If you know any vets to avoid, please tell me too.**
A few years ago my dog's former vet misdiagnosed her leg injury three times before I sought a second opinion and found out she had torn her ACL, so I'm very wary of misdiagnosis
Edit: thanks everyone for the great recommendations! My dog is fine now

The Downtown Vet - https://www.downtownpetvet.com (Hands down the best vet (Dr Buchanan) I have ever dealt with. I work in the dog rescue for years and have lots of experience with veterinarians) If your dog is showing signs of distress and needs attention on off hours of a normal vet: Far Northside: https://www.medvetforpets.com Far Southside: https://www.medvetforpets.com
does anyone know of a 24 hour pet hospital near Hammond, Louisiana?
Our lab is really, really sick and I'm not sure if he's going to make it through the night to his appointment tomorrow
