I'm looking for a thorough, honest, and reliable pest control company.
Any recommendations please?

don't use the DE for pools... that's toxic and bad for everyone. Use the food grade. www.diatomaceousearth.net

Something else that's also great outside for any/all small insects like fleas and ants is diatomaceous earth. If you get the "food grade" version of it, it's completely harmless (it's put in all the flour we buy to keep it dry and separated). It's powdered shells of microscopic sea life. The edges are so sharp that it cuts, then dehydrates very small insects. I put it in the yard every 3 months (it makes it look like we had a very light snow) and even with all the wild beasts using my yard, I have found only one flea here. Where in years past I'd have so many fleas you couldn't walk in the yard.

i actually use the human grade diatomaceous earth ON my pets to control fleas....and then put it in my yard...
Food Grade Diatomaceous Earth! I used it for my flea issues in the back yard and it's flea free!!! it's safe around pets. Not a pesticide and totally organic. go to www.diatomaceousearth.net

Wear a mask when using diatomaceous earth. You don't want to breathe that in. Also, have you ever heard of ant chalk? It's supposedly illegal but you can usually find it in LA's Chinatown it's in an orange and yellow box with a picture of a roach on it . This works well, especially if you can see the source or even just draw a line interrupting their trail. It's harmless to animals and humans. There is the Black Flag version of ant chalk that works the same, but it is really expensive compared to the Chinatown one. You were asking about a service weren't you, there must be one out there, just don't have any experience with it. Good Luck.

@Lee... Thanks for the ant chalk. It's so hard to find. Cindy, I've been using diatomaceous earth for many years now. My family had an organic farm at one time and that's what they use. And yes, Barbara... NEVER THE POOL GRADE! That's cancerous.
