  J & J Roofing - (323) 913-4190 I thought we were missing some flashing. John (the owner) came out to inspect. He told me everything was as it should be and in doing a quick inspection of the roof, told me it was in excellent shape. He went on to tell me that the sealant used was the better of the 2 types normally used and that I would not need to call him for any repairs in probably less than 10 years. Point is, he drove out for a free inspection...didn't charge a thing and then went further to tell me that I don't need a thing. Super honest and extremely polite and friendly!!   Dear Alice: We put the same request out earlier this summer and did not choose the few options we received. Instead, we chose J and J Roofing (www.jandjroofing.com)., They are on Angie's List -- you don't stay on if you're not good -- and we found them to be honest and reliable. They did our little house this summer in two days, stripping off all the previous roofs down to the frame. We were warm and dry during the first rainfall. Good luck, Alice
