  Can anyone suggest a DOG GROOMER for my sweet little yorkie girl? She desperately needs to be trimmed up and have her nails cut. The last few times I went to PetsMart in Rivergate they practically give her a buzzcut, stick a bow on her and call it a day. I'm looking for ideas for flea control for a 20lb 1yr old dog, I have tried front line and he was highly allergic (it burned his skin were applied) he is currently on the pill comfortis it's been 3 weeks and it has helped some but not much he still has fleas, he is outside most of the day (yes with food and cold water) and comes in at night. Me and My 3yr old daughter are now getting bit by them in the house (terminex just sprayed). 2. I'm looking for recommendations for a good trainer for the dog mentioned above. He just chewed up my new tennis shoes, along with anything he can get his teeth on. Has to be in the Gallatin area ;-) Thanks for any suggestions.....

  Soresto Collars are effective and work for 8 months. You MUST treat the dog, the yard and the house all at once. You must treat all dogs and cats on your property. You may even consider treating your neighbors dogs if they don't. Food grade diatomaceous earth can be used to treat the animal and areas. You can buy it at Ma & Paws Pet Supply in Hendersonviie, 615-824-0094. For the training, call David Frensley 615-604-6038. You may want to make an effort to keep things like shoes, remotes, etc. out of the dog's reach until you have gone through training. Dogs destroy things because they are bored. Exercise him 2 x daily to burn off the energy. He needs supervision and appropriate things to occupy his mouth.

  Hey everyone! As many of you know, we rescued Mansker aka Red aka Rusty aka Buddy on January 1 in Mansker Farms when he was hobbling around, barely able to walk, looking lost. We are taking good care of the old guy, giving him meds every day, etc., but I wanted to ask one thing: Is there a list of local groomers (Hendersonville and surrounding areas) who offer to do a one time full grooming for dogs that are rescued? One lady offered to groom him, but then she said she would need to use our garage to cut his hair, and there was no mention of a bath. So, we are needing Mansker to get a one-time pamper package, bath and everything, but not in our house. Lol. If we end up "adopting" him, we will of course take care of all future expenses. But for now, I was just wondering if any groomers do a special "rescue" package. We need to get him cleaned up since he is now an inside dog! Thanks in advance!

She currently has openings for this coming week on Mon, Tue, Wed and Friday. We do not require the dog to stay all day for grooming, and we will call you as soon as he is ready so you can pick him up.
