  Since y'all were go great with the vet recommendations, I need more help. My 19 yr old son bought his first car on Monday, a 2001 jeep grand Cherokee Laredo, he had it for 24 hrs and the transmission went. Arggg. Being that he found it on Craigslist and paid cash, no refunds lol. So we are looking for someone that can fix it and won't charge him an arm and a leg. If you know anyone that is trustworthy please let me know.

  Is anybody on this site a transmission mechanic ? ive got a problem with my g.f.'s 2003 SS Monte Carlo . Sounded like CV joint started slipping yesterday but closer look revealed the axel looks intact . who woulda thought any Chevy SS would have front wheel drive ? Now the trans wont pull at all , we had to have it towed .

  Seriously...call John (804)955-7841 We live 3 miles from Jimmy. Ask him for a quote and then compare with John. He is a full time mechanic and rebuilds GM transmissions on the side because HE LIKES TO.
