  People with experience with the Miama/South Beach area: I am (my mother) is trying to book a hotel in/close to the South Beach area. I am told that the agencies are all within walking distance from each other. I am on Hotwire and Priceline. If we park at the hotel wouldn't it be better to do that and walk/bus from an area hotel? Is that possible? We were told parking will be an issue. Does anyone have any insight where is a safer place to stay that is not sooo expensive? We are planning on doing open calls on Wednesday and spending the night and continuing on Thursday. Any personal insights and suggestions would be MOST appreciated.   I took a model to Miami a couple of months ago and she stayed at the Ocean Spray http://www.oceanspraymiami.com/ It's at 41 st and Collins. A hair long to walk but I understand there is a good bus that goes right back to Southbeach that is perfect. I think the room was around $100 a night and was by far the cheapest I could find at that time. Room was nice and clean.
