Hey, looking for places to possibly volunteer to help with dogs, cats, etc. I am already aware of One of a Kind and The Summit County Animal shelter, so other than those do you have any suggestions!. Thanks!

We have an injured stray cat. Are there any vets or organization that will help? Ive been watching the wound. Its getting worse. Been there about 3 weeks.

Where can I take an older dog? He will need lots of attention. My uncle passed and he needs a good home. He's lived with him since he was a puppy :(
Also have a younger female dog. She's friendly and great. I don't have the funds to place them somewhere and they need good homes.

Contact Pawsibilities. (330) 487-0333 - The humane society. Because you uncle passed they may be able to assist. If they are friendly they will be safe if turned over to Summit County Animal Shelter as well. One of a Kind Pets, Maggie's Mission, you can list them on petfinder.com as well. Good luck
If there are any professional dog groomers in the area of Twinsburg, OH that would be willing to donate a bit of your time to grooming a few doggies at Pawsibilities Humane Society of Greater Akron, please let me know and I will give you the contact person at our facility to get in touch with. We have a few babes right now that need a new 'do pretty badly! Thanks pals

Stephanie is the contact at the shelter. 330-487-0333 ext 229. She doesn't have a FB account. Told her I'd put a post up and if anyone was interested I would have them contact her. I think there are 3 or 4 dogs right now. The need is always ongoing so one time help or consistent help is welcome.
Hi I jus recently rescued a female poochon from a private owner. And we also took in a male kitty. Our puppy is about 1yr and has been in heat already once. I need to get both babies fixed. Any ideas where I can cheap. Really cheap. I'm disabled and a single mom of two other kids. Ty

Please contact our humane officer and she may be able to assist you with this matter! Shannon O'Herron 330-487-0333 ext 231. Leave her a message if she is not immediately available and she will call you back. Thank you!
To report animal cruelty who do you contact? Police? Human Soceity? What would they need and do? (someone moved and intentionally left their dog tied up in the back yard to die) I know who these people are and where they moved to.

You need to call our shelter and speak with a humane officer. 330-487-0333 and follow the prompts. Thank you.
I don't suppose you ever have a "waiting list" type of program? I know it would likely get very overwhelming. I am looking for a Golden puppy and definitely want to rescue, but it is almost impossible to find! I definitely want a puppy I can do extensive training with to do a job and a golden is my dream dog... just curious;)

You are welcome to call the shelter at 330-487-0333 ext 227 and speak with Kristin. She does try to keep lists of people wanting specific animals to adopt. Golden puppies are something we usually never see here but anything is possible:) You could also try with the rescues GRIN and Golden Treasures that are both local and deal specifically with that breed. Both great organizations! And, we thank you for wanting to rescue:-)
