Last time we were there we met a couple who had rented a car from a well known company, and apparently it was NB as they offered insurance on their cars, whereas companies like AVIS/Budget apparently dont for going on dust roads.   We always use a broker to book our cars for KTP. So we end up with one of the main rental car companies, always for a good price and always fully insured including glass and tires. Last November we had a quote from one of the 4 x4 Rental places in Uping ton and the price they offered was 10500Rand more than what we got in th end, for the same period of time and the tires were not insured..... Most of the times we had Europcar always with great cars, like e.g. last year we had a Ford Ranger.   I have found low prices in the past at www.rhinocarhire.com . Preferably choose the same Pick-up/Drop-off location to be an airport, e.g., Schiphol.
