  Some sad news. We've had a fire at our house in Gainesville. The good news is nobody was hurt, 911 was called quickly, and the fire department got there in 3 minutes and saved the day! It's a cracker house built in the 40s of heart pine and could easily have burned to the foundation. This is NOT my shop. All wood, tools and instruments in progress are safe! We are dealing with soot and smoke damage cleanup, drywall repairs, painting all rooms, new HVAC system, and possible roof repair or replacement. Any cleaning support, tips or leads on good tradesmen etc. welcome! I will most likely be out of my shop for a month or more. [Adjust expectations accordingly :~) ]
