  My family went for a day picnic and boating to Karna Lake. It is in Karnal , after Madhuban and sonepat. On the way, you will get many eating places. At Karna Lake there is a Haryana Tourism Motel & Restaurant. Chokhi Dhani is about 90 km from India Gate while Karna Lake is 140 km. At Chokhi Dhani you can eat a Great Rajasthani meal for Rs. 300 per person. You will eat on pattals ( plates made of dried leaves). Chokhi Dhani has cultural shows from 6 pm to 11 pm, daily.
