I hired chasity hornsby to be my wedding photographer for Sept 28 2013. She did show up and take pictures. I was supposed to get a disk of my pictures within the following weeks. Due to scheduling conflicts we were unable to meet up. She canceled our last appointment in Nov 2013. After that I didn't hear from her. In Dec 2013 I sent her a message via Facebook requesting she mail the disk to my address which was provided in the same message. I never received a response to that message or to the messages I sent to her every couple of months for the next 10 months. She finally responded to me after I posted to her business Facebook page. Her message was rude and she blamed me for not getting my pictures. She even said that she "thought" she mailed the disk. Yet she never said anything to me nor did she check in with me to make sure I got it and was happy with the pictures. I then asked for a refund. She continued to be rude and told me she would check to see if she still had my pictures.
I agreeded to wait and see if she could find. I made sure to check in with her every couple of weeks. Each time she informed me that due to the volume of personal issue's and busy schedule she hadn't even looked for my pictures. Chasity even said my pictures may have been deleted. After a couple of months I decided to ask for my money back again. She redirected the conversation and threatened to bill me for lost wages because I gave my advice to someone about chasity hornsby. Chasity went as far to say that my refund will show up on the "invoice" as a "credit" her lawyer was going to send me. Chasity said that if I didn't pay the invoice her lawyer sends me that she would take further action. She refused to give me her lawyer contact information. She told me that I would have to wait for her lawyer to contact me. I didn't want to wait so I filed a small claims court case in Dec 2014. Our court date was on Jan 15 2015. Chasity hornsby failed to show up.
I will never use her again nor will I ever recommend her to anyone. She is incredibly unprofessional and unreliable.
