  As of my last birth in 2012, I think it's safe to say there are no lactation consultants that will do home visits to Winchester. It's just outside of everyone's zone. I hope this may have changed. I would start at http://lchomevisits.com/ (many of thes e LCs were recommended to me but non would do Winchester home visits as of 2012). However, I did get amazing and speedy help from Lucia Jenkins at her home office in Wakefield (781-507-1980). I called at 8 am and she told me to come over right away. I was on her couch, in her house getting help literally by 8:20 am. She knows that even a few more nursing sessions with a bad latch can be disastrous, so she's used to seeing people ASAP. She may be sympathetic to a c-section and make the trip to you, and she also would certainly know who is doing home visits these days. Things might have changed since 2012 since LC visits are now covered by health care.

  A little off topic, but can anyone recommend a lactation consultant near wrentham/norfolk? A friend is looking for some help with her 1month old's latch. Her pediatrician said the baby doesn't have a lip or tongue tie but it would be nice to have a LC with experience diagnosing them just to be sure. Thanks!!
