  Anyone have a suggestion for a lawyer who would take on a personal injury/medical malpractice suit? I received bad medical advice from a doctor regarding a brown recluse bite that progressed the toxins in such a way that required surgery and resulted in loss of wages, large medical bills, permanent disfigurement, and lasting nerve damage. It is not a typical case, so I've had trouble finding someone to take it. Perhaps there's a program through one of the local colleges? I'm hoping someone here has a good lead.

We have attempted to contact them several times with no return calls. They charged us a great amount and we were scammed. They now have a F rating on the BBB page under multiple names.   Did you pay by cash, Check, or Card. You can stop payment or dispute a charge. If they cashed a check there should be info on the check. Your bank can get that for you. If you paid cash it will be hard to recover unless you take legal action. If you ha ve decent info on the person or a vehicle tag number or phone number I can usually find them for you.   Depending on the charges I would search out someone that is highly qualified in that court. You have some attorney's that are great in General Sessions Court but if this will be going to a trial court then you better get a good experienced trial attorn ey. If this is a serious felony then ask the attorney his/her experience in trials in Criminal Court not just General Sessions. My qualifications? I'm not an attorney but I do have over 30 years in testifying in Trial courts and work with the best attorney's in the business. Trial attorney's are expensive if they are good.
