Follow-up: 'traditional holiday' menu catering recommendations for a big event? Hiya Austin foodies,
A couple of weeks ago, [I asked here](https://www.reddit.com/r/austinfood/comments/ddax0z/catering_recommendations_for_a_big_event/) for some catering recommendations for the company holiday party. I got some great suggestions, but the only one offering a "traditional holiday meal" -type menu was Threadgill's. This is the menu that our group has settled upon. Unfortunately Threadgill's is all booked up on our date.
So, back to the well: can anyone recommend a good catering option for either a 'traditional holiday' menu (turkey, ham, mashed potatoes, etc) and/or 'Southern cooking' menu (chicken fried steak/chicken, etc)
I've already contacted Pok-e-Jo's and Hoover's Cooking. Who else should I try?

are you an office manager? if so, you might want to join the Austin Office Manager's group on facebook, it's incredibly helpful for questions like this! In the meantime, I suggest reaching out to a few catering companies, they can usually make exactly what you want. Try [EZCater.com](https://EZCater.com) or [yelp.com](https://yelp.com) for ideas for caterers.
Catering Options for Casual Event? This question hasn't been asked for a year, so I figured I'd see if anything new has popped up. Anybody have recommendations for a caterer for about 20-30 people? Local and/or chain restaurants are both welcome!

We are looking for a catering company to use for a rehearsal dinner. Hoping for someone that makes delicious Mexican food. The date of the event is March 9th, and we are expecting around 40 people to attend.
Any recommendations are greatly appreciated

https://www.facebook.com/1489213781351044 Roberto's Packman Pizzeria caters. We offer wings, Salads, appetizers, pasta, subs, desserts, and of course pizza. I know you asked for personal experiences, but I know that people usually don't think of pizza places catering. You can also try EZCater.com
Any unique catering recommendations for 15-20 ppl office meetings in midtown? Hello NYCers!
Our office generally sticks to Cafe Metro sandwiches for catered lunch meetings and people are getting sick of them. I'm not looking for anything too expensive or elaborate. Someone mentioned Pure Thai Cookhouse which sounds good. Any other unique catering lunch option recommendations? My office is located around 38/7.
EDIT: All great ideas!! Thank you!! Keep em coming!

You should look on www.ezcater.com. It's the seamless of catering. I've used a few different vendors before with good success.

Southie, I need your advice. I have to plan an event for 20-25 people and need to find takeout food at around $7-8 per head. What is the best cheap takeout in Southie? (Trying to avoid pizza.)
Nick D. replied:
Ezcater.com - same price as going directly the the caterer. 330 options for South Boston and you can sort by cuisine and price per head.
Manhattan Office Catering Advice Hi,
Into my first week as a office admin for a film/tv company in manhattan. One of my duties involves handling catering for birthdays, meetings, ect. I work on the Penn Plaza block with strict security. Any recommendations of caterers in the area/new york I would appreciate. Especially if the caterers have COI's (certificate of insurance covering GL, WC, Auto) as the building management is incredibly strict

They probably already have folks they've worked with before, so it's unlikely you'll need to start from scratch. I've used ezcater.com in NYC before. Ordering catering isn't one of my normal job duties, but one time I needed to for something and our office admin recommended it. The one time I did I had a really positive experience.
Good morning all!
I work in an office wishing to get reasonably priced catering for under $750 for 90 people. Can anyone recommend a restaurant or website for good catering? Thank you! :)
Im looking for a place to cater a party in downtown Manhattan for approximately 40 people. I'm hoping to spend $10-$13 person. Would that be doable? Any suggestions?

Definitely use ezcater.com they have a bunch of kosher restaurants and the whole setup is easy and efficient. As someone who does a lot of these lunches I'll say your budget may be tough but you may be able to do Milchig.
Can anyone suggest good restaurants that deliver?
Thanks
Neil H. replied:
Lesley, there are at least three very successful food delivery services: ezcater.com , grubhub.com and seamless.com. You can go to their websites on the Interne. They deliver for thousands of restaurants and have the menus on their sites. You don't even communicate with the restaurant, they do everything for you.
Who is the best in the Hickory, NC area for catering small events?
Phoenix W. replied:
Joshua Michael McDowell , she has a menu you can find on ezcater.com (look for the crosswinds cafe menu) but she very often finds out from the client what they're looking for through conversation and creates otions to fit what it sounds like they're looking for or she customizes meals for clients that aren't even close to being on her menu. She can do just about anything. Give her a call.
