I know its planning way ahead but we are wanting to be away in the lakes next Christmas. We are after self catering for us 2 and a very well behaved dog with a safe bit of enclosed garden area. Preferably in the Keswick area. Anyone got any recommendations.

Have a look at www.sallyscottages.co.uk Linda. They have lots of lovely dog friendly cottages in and around Keswick.
Is there a Dog Friendly accomadation list available? Although we do manage to find places eventually after a long internet search a quicker way would be super

Can anyone recommend or does anyone have a cottage to rent for 3 nights, commencing Friday 9th October, not particularly fussed where in the area, as long as there's ample walks, and a pub within swaggering distance!! Just for 2.

Can anyone recommend a good holiday cottage in the Lake District area/Scotland (or sort of 2-3 hours from Northumberland) I've made my eyes square looking at so many! Really want something isolated with a nice garden and good walking routes - I'm a photographer, so its a trip for the camera more than me! (and dogs of course)
Hi Folks, having used Cumbrian cottages for the last ten years for my visit home I would like to try a different company to book through as the last visit left us with the most appalling cottage and a company unwilling to take responsibility for the state of it. I don't wish to give them anymore business. Would anyone be able to recommend another company to use that they are happy with, we would need to use someone who has cottages which allow one gorgeously well behaved dog. Many thanks for suggestions in advance.

A couple of friends with 2 dogs would like to come to the lakes for a few nights. They know nothing about the area and only walk on levelish ground. Any suggestions for a reasonably priced, good hotel? I know the lakes well but having trouble thinking of somewhere to suit them. Skelwith Bridge is the only place I can think of so far.

these are sooooooo reasonable .... https://www.facebook.com/sallyscottages/
