  Hi Folks, having used Cumbrian cottages for the last ten years for my visit home I would like to try a different company to book through as the last visit left us with the most appalling cottage and a company unwilling to take responsibility for the state of it. I don't wish to give them anymore business. Would anyone be able to recommend another company to use that they are happy with, we would need to use someone who has cottages which allow one gorgeously well behaved dog. Any suggestions for a reasonably priced, good hotel? I know the lakes well but having trouble thinking of somewhere to suit them. Skelwith Bridge is the only place I can think of so far.
