  So after a full work up at the vet this week following the gum eating fiasco 2 weeks ago--no diagnoses! I don't know if I'm going crazy or not but I know my dog and something it's going on! We've been going to Lake Cable Animal Hospital 15 yrs & I've noticed a turnover of our techs. So idk if I've lost faith in our vet or not but I want someone else to look at her. Her digestive system is whacked & I'm still very concerned of the loss of 7lbs in 60 days. Anyone know of a superior specialist that I can start with?

  My last dog needed to see three specialists in his last years - an internist, an orthopedic surgeon, and a neurologist. Each time I was referred by my regular vet to the following place. I would assume that your vet would be willing to do so also if you requested it. They were each excellent. A bit pricey, but worth every cent for the added time and comfort that my dog had added to his life. http://www.metropolitanvet.com.

  Can anyone recommend a veterinary dermatologist in the area? I have an appointment with Dr Jeromin at Veterinary Allergy & Dermatology in Richfield but can't get our dog in to see her until May. Were also on a list to be called on case of cancellations, but there are a number of people ahead of us. Our min pin has a pink lump on her lower lip/chin that has been spreading since November, no telling where it will be three months from now. Her regular vet said it may be vitiligo(which isn't treated) but said it wouldn't be spreading this way and said we could see a dermatologist. The pink areas on her lower lip used to be all completely black. Katelyn Shambach

  Metro phone 330-666-2976. Tiffany, I never heard that about plastic bowls but I just never felt like they get clean enough. That makes total sense though.
