  I'm from San Diego and grew up traveling to Mexico quite frequently. In my opinion, Taqueria Nueve is the absolute BEST Mexican food around. It is upscale and everything is 100% scratch made from FRESH ingredients. The other places that are mentioned here in this thread are all pretty much the same... give or take a menu item or two. http://www.taquerianueve.com
