Affordable legal advice/service for people who are starting out (i.e. new startup founders)? Hi Everyone!
I am a start-up newbie who has been working on a product for past 3 months and we are about to launch soon. We are excited to get it going and we already have a few hundreds of users signed up pre-launch :) But with all these excitement aside, now the reality of legal implications (e.g. my current employer has IP clause in the employment letter, should we be LLC or Delaware Corp, etc) is hitting me hard.
I know how expensive retaining a lawyer can be (and they should be!) and I was wondering if you had any favorite resources y'all use to get affordable legal services and advice. Or any recommendations on great start-up focused lawyers who you've worked with would also be great as well :)
Thanks everyone!

Check out UpCounsel.com, might be pricier than LegalShield but they have a blog. RocketLawyer.com more economical, also has articles.
Business Lawyer Recommendations We're looking to consult with a business lawyer. Can anyone recommend a good lawyer in the area that specializes in small businesses? Thanks!

Try upcounsel.com. It’s what I did for some contract review, basically got to try a few out for free for an hour and see if I like them and if they are qualified for what I’m doing.
Liberty Auto sales is trying to screw me over an a car deal. At this point, I need to get a lawyer involved. Any recommendations for lawyers that offer a free consultation? Or don’t require payment till the case is settled?
