  So... we've been getting quotes to replace part of our fence. The street side, and 2 gates on the front side of the house. The quotes are coming in at about $54 a foot. And total about $6,000. That seems INSANELY expensive, no??? This a basic 6ft tall fence, not even the metal posts and shadow box design (we're on a windy corner) we want. We also wanted a 2ft tall simple fence around part of the lawn (corner house, pedestrians use our lawn as a shortcut) and was quoted $3,000 for that. I feel like they are just throwing numbers at us and seeing what'll stick. Anyone have any fence companies to suggest. We have only found one so far that'll do metal posts.
