  Hi, I am wondering if anyone has had any success helping teenagers with depression. My son is heartbreakingly doing it tough. I am not keen to put him on antidepressants as I have had terrible experiences with those and don't believe they help in many cases. I would like to hear from anyone who has found a good counselling service or some other form of assistance that has actually helped. He is not keen to talk to anyone but I will cross that bridge when I get to it. Please, no comments about how easy teens have it these days. Comments like that from adults are part of the problem. In my experience depression in teenagers is becoming too common.

I have 2 small children and feel anxiety when having to look after them by myself. It has become a huge issue for me and has got to the point where I actually don't like being a parent anymore. I'm also concerned about having to pay so much for a private psychologist as we are on a low income. Your thoughts would be so appreciated.
