Erica Illsley is stopping by to ask a question for her friend. Please leave a comment if you can help out this. Her friend is saying....
"I am needing advice on what to do with my special needs daughter. My kids go to public school it is a very small town and it is a wonderful school. My daughter will not be able to go on to first grade because she is so behind and needs special education. Our school is so small they do not have that and would have to send her over the mountain every day about 30 min. away for special education classes. Do you know of any homeschool companies that have special ed curriculum? She loves going to school so this would be very hard on her."

Sometimes you can get a worker who comes to your house for a few hours a week to work with your special needs child . (My daughter did this for awhile) It is paid for by the state I believe. Ask if they have a program like this in your state ? A group called Nathhan , has support groups and info for homeschooling special needs children. Nathhan.com
Ladies, I need some info for a mom just starting to home school a 15 yo child with serious learning challenges. He is on a 7th grade level right now. I was planning to give her TAFA and DASCHE info,...
I agree with Lynns comments. They also might check with Flint?? Not positive on that one. Also - http://www.joyceherzog.info/Joyce_Herzog/Welcome.html Nathhan - http://www.nathhan.com
