Contacted all previously suggested and a root touch up, foils and trim is $300+ (I pay $120 back home). I can't justify $300+ for a cm of root and a trim of an inch off the end.   Another alternative is to take the Long Island Railroad 35 mins to Manhasset (where I live) -$16 RT off peak and go to Megaris & Megaris on Park Ave. http://www.megarisbeautesalon.com/ one min. from station. Will be way cheaper than Manhattan prices.
